Pasquale G. Zarro
Vice President - Strategic Relationships
Pasquale Zarro serves as Vice President – Strategic Relationships for Jupiter Biomedical Research, Inc. In that role, he works with the Company’s Board of Directors on corporate financing strategy, serves as a liaison between JBR and the financial community, assists with investor relations and financing activities, and helps identify, evaluate, and assess strategic business opportunities for the Company.
Mr. Zarro brings to Jupiter Biomedical Research the perspective of an experienced entrepreneur, finance professional, and business builder. His career has been centered on creating and leading companies in industries where access to capital, trusted relationships, transaction execution, and long-term credibility are essential. That background is particularly valuable to JBR as the Company advances its biomedical research and development objectives and seeks to communicate its mission, strategy, and financing needs to investors, financial professionals, and strategic partners.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Zarro has developed extensive relationships within the mortgage, commercial lending, real estate, title, and development communities. In 1993, he founded Sterling Mortgage, where he served as President and Owner. Under his leadership, Sterling Mortgage originated more than $2 billion in residential and reverse mortgages, helping clients obtain financing for homes and long-term financial planning needs.
Mr. Zarro later founded Sterling Commercial Capital, a private commercial lending company focused on financing solutions for commercial real estate and business-related projects throughout Florida. His work in commercial lending required practical judgment in evaluating transactions, assessing risk, structuring financing, and working with borrowers, investors, and other professionals involved in business and real estate finance.
Although much of Mr. Zarro’s earlier career was built in real estate, lending, and development, the experience translates directly to his work with JBR. Emerging biomedical companies require more than scientific promise. They require disciplined financing strategy, credible communication with investors, careful relationship-building, and the ability to evaluate opportunities from both a business and capital markets perspective. Mr. Zarro’s role at JBR draws on those strengths as the Company works to advance its therapeutic development programs and build the relationships needed to support future growth.
Mr. Zarro’s entrepreneurial background also includes the development and construction of Sterling Tower, a four-story mixed-use building in Stuart, Florida; participation in Honduras Properties, a 70-acre oceanfront community in La Ceiba, Honduras; involvement with Locks Road Developers in the development of Wildwood Estates in Martin County; and ownership involvement in Sterling Title, which handled residential and commercial closings. He has also participated in marina and development projects, including River Park Marina of Fort Pierce, Rio Marina in Martin County, and M. Miller and Company.
Beyond his professional work, Mr. Zarro has maintained a strong commitment to community service. He has served as a board member of Helping People Succeed, an organization dedicated to improving lives and supporting individuals and families. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, reflecting his longstanding commitment to service, faith, and community involvement.
At Jupiter Biomedical Research, Mr. Zarro contributes practical business judgment, financial relationship-building experience, entrepreneurial discipline, and a strong sense of community responsibility. His work supports the Company’s efforts to develop the financial and strategic relationships necessary to advance promising biomedical innovation.
