An oral approach to cancer and viral diseases.

JBR is developing an oral therapeutic to enable patient treatment in both the hospital and community setting. JBR's objective is to provide a cost-effective treatment that can be used in currently practiced combination therapies leading to equivalent or better response outcomes, a lower burden of concomitant radiation therapy and an improved safety profile.

JBR-102 is an oral, small-molecule therapeutic for cancer. The lead indication is glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), an aggressive primary brain cancer where median survival has not been materially extended within this population in more than twenty years. Follow-on solid tumor indications under study include non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, and melanoma.

Jupiter Biomedical Research, Inc. has entered a research collaboration with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Inc., a National Cancer Institute-designated, comprehensive cancer center, to evaluate the efficacy and mechanism of action of its lead clinical candidate, JBR-102, across multiple solid tumor cancer cell types. This collaboration has helped to accelerate JBR's innovative therapeutic development capabilities with Moffitt's world-class cancer research and clinical expertise to advance novel treatment options for patients in need

JBR-201 is a novel oral small-molecule in development as a potential broad-spectrum antiviral. Initial activity has been demonstrated against three different classes of viral pathogens. Safety pharmacology and toxicology work are well advanced. The next phase extends evaluation of antiviral activity to additional viral classes, a better defining of the mechanism of action and progression to animal proof-of-concept studies.

Jupiter Biomedical Research, Inc. has entered a research collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic's Florida Research & Innovation Center (FRIC) to evaluate the efficacy and mechanism of action of its lead antiviral candidate, JBR-201, across multiple types of pathogenic viruses. The FRIC collaboration will align JBR’s innovative oral therapeutic development capabilities with the Cleveland Clinic's Global Center for Pathogen and Human Health Research providing a focus on basic and translational research with a goal to advance a novel antiviral therapy to treat patients suffering from challenging diseases.
