Richard P. Tambone

Board Member / CFO & COO

Richard P. Tambone is a co-founder, director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Jupiter Biomedical Research, Inc. Since helping launch the Company in 2016, he has played a central role in its formation, business development, financing strategy, operations, and long-term corporate direction.

Mr. Tambone brings to Jupiter Biomedical Research the perspective of a seasoned entrepreneur and company builder. His career has been defined by identifying promising opportunities at an early stage, organizing the business and financial structure needed to support them, and guiding those ventures through the practical challenges of growth. At JBR, that experience has been applied to the highly specialized and demanding field of biomedical research, where scientific promise must be matched with disciplined management, capital planning, regulatory awareness, and operational execution.

Jupiter Biomedical Research was formed to advance novel therapeutic candidates with potential applications in oncology and antiviral medicine. Mr. Tambone’s role has been particularly important in helping shape the business side of that mission: building the corporate platform, supporting the Company’s strategic planning, participating in financing and investor-related matters, and helping guide the Company through the complexities that confront early-stage biotechnology ventures. His work reflects the intersection of entrepreneurial judgment and biomedical innovation — an area in which promising science must be translated into a viable development pathway.

Before co-founding JBR, Mr. Tambone built a long and successful career in real estate development and investment. He co-founded Tambone Real Estate Development Corporation in 1981 and developed a full-service platform focused on Class “A” office, research, industrial and related commercial properties. Over the course of his career, he has been associated with more than 15 million square feet of development activity across multiple asset classes, including office, medical, industrial, retail and multifamily projects.

Although his earlier career was rooted in real estate, the relevance of that experience to JBR is practical and direct. Large-scale development requires financial discipline, risk assessment, project management, negotiation, long-cycle planning, and the ability to coordinate professionals across multiple disciplines. Those same skills are critical in an emerging biomedical company, where the pathway from discovery to commercialization requires not only scientific insight, but also corporate structure, financing, strategic partnerships, and sustained operational focus.

Mr. Tambone’s transition into the biomedical sector reflects his broader entrepreneurial approach: moving beyond a single industry and applying decades of operating experience to opportunities with the potential for meaningful impact. At Jupiter Biomedical Research, he has helped build a company focused on advancing therapeutic innovation in areas of significant medical need.

Mr. Tambone received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Stetson University. He has also been active in business, development, regional economic development, and charitable organizations, and has received recognition for his contributions to business leadership, economic development, and job creation in Florida.
