Tipton J. Shonkwiler, MBA, CFE

Tipton Shonkwiler brings to Jupiter Biomedical Research, Inc. more than three decades of experience in franchising, brand development, sales, marketing, international expansion, corporate growth strategy and investment banking. He currently serves as National Director of Private Equity & Franchise Relations for a publicly traded PEO, BBSI. Over the course of his career, Mr. Shonkwiler has worked with both public and privately held companies and has held senior roles involving franchise development, international master license sales, brand expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and the day-to-day operations of multiple franchise brands.

Mr. Shonkwiler has particular experience in the development of medical franchise brands and has cultivated an extensive global network of contacts within the medical industry. His background provides JBR with valuable insight into business development, strategic relationships, commercialization planning, and the practical requirements of expanding a healthcare-oriented business across domestic and international markets.

In addition to his executive experience, Mr. Shonkwiler is a Certified Franchise Executive through the International Franchise Association and holds a Franchise MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He has also served on a diversified group of boards and advisory bodies, including the International Franchise Association, Google’s Franchise Channel Advisory Board, the Ad Specialty Institute, the United States Commercial Office Division, and the Titus Center for Franchising. His broad experience in franchise operations, global business development, and medical-brand expansion adds a valuable commercial and strategic perspective to JBR’s Board of Directors.
